Member Studio

Nu Ceramics Studio is a contemporary ceramics space in the heart of Atlantic Canada, created for makers of all levels.

Founded by potter Andrew McCullough, a contestant on The Great Canadian Pottery Throwdown, the studio was built from a deep love of clay, community, and teaching.

At Nu Ceramics, we believe in making art approachable, sharing knowledge generously, and building a vibrant creative community. Our studio is a place to explore, grow, and connect—with clay and with each other.

As a community studio focused solely on pottery in the Fredericton area and the sole pottery supply retail store in New Brunswick, we help make pottery accessible to everyone.

• Bayside Buff EcoClay

Nu Canadian Clay's Bayside Buff EcoClay is the region’s first locally produced potters' clay. Our unique manufacturing diverts waste from mines and our clay is refined by potters who care about sustainability and performance. Smooth, responsive, and full of character, it’s clay with a conscience.

• Kiln Firing Membership

Great for those who make at home but need a reliable place to fire the occasional piece. Great alternative to kiln rental if you won't consistently make enough to fill a firing yourself.
